Junior Assessment Week
Junior examinations are in Week 6. The exams are Wednesday 23 through Friday 25 November. The schedule is below.
Examinations will run for 90 minutes in each subject
The main intention of offering formal assessments at Y9 and Y10 is to build opportunities for our young men to familiarise themselves with some of the experiences they will face in the senior school. Major ‘takeaways’ should be understanding the value of preparation, the type of study programme that works best for them and learning how to manage their time in an exam setting.
During Term 2 we spent time in Tutor class looking at study skills, using the MyMahi App. A study booklet, prepared by the Deputy Headmaster, was distributed at this time to Y9/10s.
Results will be available for parents / whānau via the Kamar Parent Portal.
