Meet the Teacher – Year 9
Tuesday 14 February, 6:30 – 7:45pm
The purpose of the evening is for you to meet your son’s core subject teachers. The teachers will provide an overview of their subject, course and expectations. The evening begins in the Napier Boys’ High School Henderson Hall.
School Bus Service
We acknowledge there has been disruptions to the school bus service this week and we apologise for any upset and inconvenience.
We are working with Tranzit to resolve the issues as quickly as possible.
The buses depart school in the afternoon at 3.05pm – all boys need to make their way to the bus bay at the end of the school day.
Tranzit have acknowledged that some services are over subscribed. This is a combination of a 20% increase in bus users and staff shortages.
If any students are not able to be transported on any service then they are to wait at their stop or at school and another bus will return and collect them and transport them to school or home.
The Clive bus is oversubscribed – this is a ministry funded bus for eligible students only. The bus driver handed out ineligibility forms to all students on Thursday. Students who live in Clive do not need to return the form. Students who live outside the area need to complete the form and hand it to the driver. There is a public service to Havelock North, departing from Te Awa Ave at 4.40pm.
We are investigating all options and thank you kindly for your patience while these issues are resolved.
