Parent / Caregiver Teacher Interviews
Thank you to the parents/caregivers that have already booked interviews. Some teachers are now fully booked through the evening. We encourage you to book now if you have not already done so. The booking system closes at 9am on the day of the interviews.
Dayboy interviews are 2:30 – 8:30pm on Tuesday, 05 July, in the Gymnasium. Please click on the following link to make a booking if your son is a day boy student:

If you have difficulty making a booking, please phone the school office for assistance (06) 833 5900.
Conscious of ‘winter wellness’ and staff wellbeing, it is expected that parents/caregivers wear a mask to the interviews.
On both days, the school will finish at 12:15pm. Buses will depart at 12:25pm. Feeder buses will run at normal times.
Senior Assessment Catch-ups
The timetable change to accommodate our senior students continues in Week 10.
Attendance at the assessment catch-up is compulsory. Senior students will be identified by the subject teacher(s). The subject teacher will make contact with parents/caregivers, either by email or phone.
Youth Grant Fund
This fund is designed to help local youth to achieve their aspirations. The fund is open to anyone living in Napier aged between 12 – 24yo involved in a project or activity to promote personal development.
Applications open Wednesday 29 June and close Wednesday 3 August.
If your son or a family member is interested in applying, they can do so here.
Public Bus – Mask / Face-covering
We have been contacted by Go Bus. They have indicated that some of our students are not wearing an appropriate face covering. It is still mandatory for face coverings to be worn on public transport. Go Bus is struggling with driver illness. Help us to promote winter wellness by ensuring your son has a suitable mask/face covering.
School Board – Election
School Board Elections are soon. We are seeking nominations to join the NBHS Board. This is a fantastic way to contribute to the school community and support your son’s education. No experience is required to take on the role. There is plenty of training and support available.
Please give some thought to standing or nominating someone else. The call for nominations will be in July.
You can find further information on what it means to be on a school board here.
Ngā mihi nui,
Megan Landon, Returning Officer
