This information is for daily travel to and from school. Boarding students wishing to organise weekly transport should go to Tranzit website for boarders’ travel at this LINK. The town buses are run by Tranzit in a similar way to the GoBay buses but these buses are solely for students of Napier Boys’ High School. These students are required to purchase and carry tickets. They can be purchased on the bus or from Tranzit’s Head Office in Whakatu. Tickets are sold as a book of ten concession tickets for $30, or an individual cash fare is $3.50 per trip that can be purchased from the bus driver. Term Passes (coloured pass valid for one term only) at $265.00 per term (or $240 for Bay View or Clive/Havelock North). Term Pass: Please see the link HERE, which parents can use to purchase a term pass online. When purchased online, we will get the term pass to the correct driver within a few days, but initially the student can show the confirmation email on their phone or printed copy. PLEASE NOTE: the Bayview Term pass is currently SOLD out for Term 1 of 2026. Tranzit wish to apologise for any inconvenience.
